The Boston Celtics moved within one win of the 2024 NBA title with a 106-99 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night.
Jayson Tatum led the way for Boston with 31 points, while Jaylen Brown added 30 points. The Celtics built a 21-point lead in the fourth quarter before the Mavericks made a late run. However, Boston held on to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the series.
The Celtics can clinch the title with a win in Game 4 on Friday night in Dallas. The Mavericks will need to win Game 4 to force a Game 5 back in Boston.
