Beating the Mavericks in Game 4 at 8:30 ET Could Clinch Championship
The Boston Celtics are one win away from capturing the NBA championship after a hard-fought victory in Game 4 of the Finals against the Dallas Mavericks. The Celtics' star duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown came up big in the absence of injured center Kristaps Porzingis, leading Boston to an 83-79 win.
Tatum finished with a game-high 27 points, while Brown added 24 points. The Celtics also got a boost from Al Horford, who had 14 points and 10 rebounds. The Mavericks were led by Luka Doncic, who had 26 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Celtics' balanced attack.
The Celtics will now have a chance to sweep the Mavericks in Game 4 on Friday night. The game is scheduled to tip off at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
