Celtics vs Mavericks: A Pivotal Game 3

Celtics Look to Rebound in Crucial Matchup

Boston Celtics Preview

The Boston Celtics enter Game 3 of the NBA Finals facing adversity after losing the first two games to the Dallas Mavericks. Despite strong performances in both games, the Celtics have been unable to secure a victory on the road.

In Game 1, the Celtics fell 112-87, with Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown struggling to find their rhythm. In Game 2, they rallied in the fourth quarter but ultimately lost 125-122. Tatum and Brown have averaged 23.5 and 21 points per game, respectively, but have shot a combined 37% from the field.

The Celtics are in need of a strong performance in Game 3 at home. They will need to improve their shooting and rebounding, while also limiting the Mavericks' three-point shooting. The return of Robert Williams III, who missed the first two games with a knee injury, could provide a boost.
